Capricorn TVET College is thrilled to announce that it has received an unqualified audit opinion for the 2023 Annual Audit Report, issued by Auditor General South Africa on 31 May 2024. This outstanding achievement is a testament to the College’s commitment to financial excellence and compliance with legislation and regulatory requirements.
The Finance unit extends its gratitude to all stakeholders who contributed to this success, particularly the College Principal, Executive and Senior Management for their leadership and support. Special appreciation is also accorded to the officials who worked tirelessly during the audit preparation process, from campus level to finance and other sections.
This achievement marks the third consecutive year that the College has received an unqualified audit opinion (2021, 2022 and 2023). The Finance Unit aims to further improve and strive for a clean audit opinion in the 2024 financial year. “To achieve this, we urge all stakeholders to collaborate in implementing effective internal controls and adhering to policies”, states the Acting Deputy Principal: Finance, Mr Daddy Kganyago.
